A graphene heated glove puts a thin heating layer across the back of the hand, runs it from a battery that sits in a zippered pocket in the cuff, and switches it from a control patch on the wrist. Three parts, in that order — and almost everything a buyer needs to judge happens in the second and third.
The heating layer is the part everyone talks about. The cuff is the part that decides whether the glove is wearable: it holds the battery, it carries the control, and it is where a heated glove differs visibly from an ordinary one. This article walks through the whole assembly, the two cuff configurations the product is offered in, the battery-safety rules that come before any feature list, and the figures we deliberately do not publish.
Fingers are thin, have very little mass, and sit as far from your core as anything you own. In cold air they lose heat faster than the torso does, which is why a walk that feels fine for the first ten minutes stops feeling fine at the fingertips.
The usual answer — a thicker glove — trades dexterity for warmth. More insulation means a bulkier hand, and a bulky hand cannot work a camera dial, a zip or a phone. That trade-off is the reason heated gloves exist at all: instead of adding material, they add heat, so the glove can stay close-fitting.
The heating element is a graphene layer built into the glove. Graphene is used here for the same reason it is used in our other products: it spreads warmth across an area rather than concentrating it along a few lines, which matters when the surface being warmed is the back of a hand rather than a flat panel.
The heat reaches the hand through the glove's own construction — the back seam, the palm panel and the finger seams are all part of how the layers are held together. Those three seams are called out in the detail shots because they are the places a glove either holds its shape or starts to go.
If you want the material background, it is set out in what a far-infrared heating film is and how it works and in the comparison between resistance wire and graphene heating.
The cuff on this glove is deliberately long, and it carries three things that a plain cuff does not.
| On the cuff | What it does |
| Control patch | A flat square panel on the back of the wrist. It is where you switch the heat, and it is placed where the other hand can reach it without taking the glove off |
| Zippered pocket | The battery sits here. A zip rather than an open slot, because a battery that can slide out mid-walk is a battery you will lose |
| Long cuff | Covers the wrist joint and closes the gap between glove and sleeve — the gap where cold air normally gets in |
There is also a wrist clip that keeps the pair together when they are not being worn, which is a small detail that matters more than it sounds in a pocket.
The range is offered in two versions, and the comparison is worth understanding before choosing.
| Configuration | What it is | Who it suits |
| Heated glove | Long cuff with the control patch and the zippered battery pocket | Buyers who want the heating function as the product |
| Plain-cuff reference | The same glove shape with a plain cuff — no control patch, no pocket | Buyers who want the fit and finish without the electrics, or who are comparing shapes before committing |
The plain-cuff version is not a cheaper heated glove with parts missing. It is a different product line, and offering it alongside the heated version is useful in a B2B programme: a retailer can show both, and a buyer can judge the glove's shape on its own before deciding about the electrics.
Three measurements define the fit: overall length, palm width and cuff width. Those are the three the size sheet asks for, and they are confirmed against the approved sample rather than published as a fixed chart — because a glove that is right in the palm and wrong at the cuff is a glove that gets returned.
The fingertip panel is the other feature worth naming. The reference images show the gloves being used with a phone, and the fingertip is called out in the close-up shots. If touchscreen operation is a hard requirement for your programme, raise it at the sample stage so the fingertip construction can be confirmed against your test, rather than assumed from a photograph.
A heated glove puts a battery against your wrist and a heating element against your skin. The rules below are not legal boilerplate; they are the operating instructions.
This product is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. It warms a hand; it does not treat a condition. We make no claim about arthritis, joint pain, circulation or any other medical matter, and any listing that does should be read with scepticism.
| Category | What can be set |
| Size range | Palm width, overall length and cuff width, to your size run |
| Colour | Custom colourways |
| Private label | Your branding on the glove |
| Packaging | Carton and retail packaging design |
| Battery details | Battery specification and charging arrangement, as an order item |
| Cuff configuration | Heated glove, or the plain-cuff reference |
The programme runs in four stages: brief, design review, sample approval, order spec. The sample stage is where the fit, the seam quality and the fingertip construction are signed off, and it is worth treating it as the real decision point — the specification that follows is only as good as the sample behind it.
Final details follow the approved sample.
A short list of things this page deliberately does not state, and why:
If any figure above is a hard requirement for your programme, raise it at the design stage and it becomes a defined, testable specification rather than a marketing number.
Dongguan Sheerfond New Material Co., Ltd. develops and manufactures far-infrared and graphene heating materials, and designs the thermal systems built around them. Our low-voltage heating range covers 3.7 V, 5 V, 12 V, 24 V and 36 V architectures, and our wearable programmes apply the same materials at the scale of a glove. Products are manufactured against project specifications with batch inspection records.
Send us your size range, the cuff configuration you need, your colourway and branding requirements, your packaging requirements, your target quantity, and what battery arrangement your market expects. We will come back with a design proposal and a sample plan.
Price indication: US$11.8–13.8 per pair for the reference configuration, with the final figure following your confirmed specification, order quantity and destination market.

How do graphene heated gloves work?
A graphene heating layer runs across the glove, a battery in the cuff pocket powers it, and a control patch on the wrist switches it on and off.
How long does the battery last?
We do not publish a runtime. It depends on the battery, the setting and the ambient temperature, and the specification is confirmed per project.
Is the battery included?
Yes — the battery is included, and its specification is written into the order. The artwork shows the battery as an icon, so the appearance of the supplied unit is confirmed on the sample.
Can I wash them?
The product is not presented as washable. Take the battery out and follow the care instructions on your approved sample.
Do they work with a touchscreen?
The reference images show the gloves being used with a phone, and the fingertip panel is part of the construction. If touchscreen operation is critical to your programme, confirm it against your own test at the sample stage.
What is the plain-cuff version?
The same glove shape without the control patch and battery pocket. It is a separate line for buyers who want the fit and finish without the electrics.
Are they safe to sleep in?
No. Do not wear heated gloves while sleeping, and do not use them for long periods at high heat.
This product is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. It warms a hand and makes no claim regarding arthritis, joint pain, circulation or any other medical condition. Use only the battery and charger supplied with the glove; do not use a swollen, punctured or damaged battery; do not charge unattended; remove the battery before cleaning and do not immerse the gloves in water; do not use while sleeping; not for children. Battery specification, charging method, cleaning method and dimensions are confirmed per project against the approved sample.
