External Ice Water Box · Cooling Circulation Channel · Tall Backrest · Folding Cross-Brace Frame · Snowflake Control · Custom Colour & Private Label
![]()
This is a folding outdoor chair with a cooling loop built into it. An insulated box of ice water sits beside the chair and connects by hose; the water passes through channels in the seat and backrest and returns to the box. The seated person rests against a surface that is being cooled from within.
The design answers a problem that shade alone does not solve. A chair in the sun has been absorbing heat for hours, and after a while there is no cool patch left to shift onto. A fan needs power and only helps where there is a socket; a wet towel dries. A water loop is different in kind, because as long as there is ice in the box there is a cold reservoir to draw on, and the cooling does not depend on mains power at the point of use.
The chair itself stays a normal folding chair: a tall back, a cross-brace folding frame, foam armrests and a low-mounted cup pouch. That is deliberate. A cooling chair that is awkward to carry would not get used.
This page describes a configurable platform, not one fixed product. Fabric, frame colour, channel routing, control and packaging are all specification items.
Options and system configuration follow the approved sample and confirmed order.
It is a folding outdoor chair that provides personal comfort cooling of the seating surface, using ice water carried in a separate box. It is not an air conditioner, and it does not cool the air around you.
It is not a medical device, and it is not intended to treat heat-related illness. Anyone with a heat-related medical concern needs proper medical care, not a chair.
It is also not a one-time fill. Ice melts, so a session has a natural end and the box is refilled — how long a charge lasts depends on the ice, the water volume and the weather.
Finally, it is not a fixed catalogue item. The version photographed here uses one fabric, one frame colour and one channel layout. A production order can change each of those.

Cooling performance, water box capacity, circulation details, load rating, net weight, folded dimensions and fabric composition are set per project and are not published here. See the note below.
The system has two parts, and it is worth understanding them separately: the water box, which holds ice and water, and the chair, which carries the cooling channels. A hose joins the two.
Cold water leaves the box, passes through the channels inside the chair, and returns. Because the water is colder than the surface it passes beneath, heat flows from the seating surface into the water and is carried back to the box.
The engineering is not in the idea — it is in the routing, because the channels have to spread the exchange across the seat and back without adding bulk or creating a hard spot you can feel through the fabric. That is also the part that changes most from one programme to another.
Please note: the cooling path shown in this product’s artwork is labelled concept illustration. It explains the idea of the loop rather than documenting a final channel layout. The final routing is confirmed on your approved sample, and the hose exit position is a specification item — plan the hose routing around the seating area.
System configuration follows the approved sample and confirmed order.

A cooling chair still has to be a good chair, and the frame is where that is decided.
| Part | Function |
|---|---|
| Cross-brace structure | The orange diagonals stop the chair racking sideways, which is how cheap folding chairs fail |
| Riveted pivot joints | The folding points are riveted rather than bolted, so they do not work loose |
| Flat hinged foot pads | The legs end in flat pads that sit on soft ground instead of spearing into it |
| Tall backrest | A stitched back panel that supports the shoulders, not just the seat |
| Foam armrest sleeves | Padding over the arms, for long sessions outdoors |
The frame is offered in a reference range of colours, so the same chair can be specified for a neutral outdoor programme or a more conspicuous retail line without changing anything structural.
Frame colour and materials follow the approved sample.

The chair carries a snowflake-marked control on the armrest strap, which is where the system is switched or adjusted. What it changes, and how many settings it has, are set per project — we do not publish a temperature or a speed for it, and the section below explains why.
The seating surface is a stitched textile panel. Stitching is not decoration here: a panel made in sections is easier to build the cooling channels into, and it holds its shape better than a single sheet under repeated folding.
On cleaning: a chair with a water-carrying channel inside it is cleaned to a different procedure than a plain folding chair, and that procedure is part of the specification. It is stated on the care instructions of your approved sample rather than in a marketing paragraph.

Every item below is a specification item. The list is deliberately broad, because an outdoor or gifting programme is usually decided by exactly these details.
| Item | What can be set |
|---|---|
| Fabric and colour | Seat and back textile, dyed to your reference |
| Frame colour | Reference range shows six frame colours |
| System configuration | Cooling channel routing, hose exit position and the armrest control |
| Accessories | Cup pouch and water box layout |
| Private label | Woven label and your logo on the chair |
| Packaging | Printed carton for a retail or distributor programme |
Available options depend on the final sample and confirmed order.

The four-stage process below is the same one we run across our products, whether it is a single sample or a seasonal line.
| Step | Stage |
|---|---|
| 1 | Requirements — market, fabric, frame colour, system configuration and quantity |
| 2 | Sample Review — you confirm frame, fabric, channel routing and packaging |
| 3 | Order Confirmation — drawings and a written specification for your approval |
| 4 | Production — batch manufacture with inspection records |
Process and options subject to confirmed order.
Stage 2 is where a programme is decided, because the pieces are linked. Move the hose exit and you move where the box sits, which changes the packaging footprint. Fabric choice affects how the channels sit. Agreeing all of it on one sample is what keeps a seasonal line on schedule.
Buyers evaluating a cooling chair tend to ask the same questions, and they are worth answering honestly.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Does it need power? | The cooling loop runs from the ice water box; there is no mains connection at the point of use |
| How long does it stay cold? | It depends on the ice, the water volume and the weather — we do not publish a single figure for it |
| Does it cool the air? | No — it cools the seating surface, not the surrounding air |
| Is it waterproof? | It has a closed cooling loop. That is a functional description, not an ingress rating |
| Does it still fold? | Yes — a cross-brace folding frame with riveted pivot joints |
| Can I put my brand on it? | Woven label and private label, plus custom packaging |
| What about the numbers? | Cooling performance, capacity, dimensions and composition are set per project — see the note below |
The following are set per project and confirmed against the approved sample, and are therefore not published as fixed figures:
One point deserves its own line, because it is the easiest place to over-promise: a chair that carries water is not automatically a waterproof or water-resistant product. Those are certification terms with their own testing, and we do not use them unless they have been earned. What the chair has is a closed cooling loop.
We would rather hand you an accurate sample and a test report than a headline figure that will not survive contact with a retailer’s compliance team. If any of the figures above is a hard requirement for your programme, raise it at the design stage and it becomes a defined, testable specification.
Dongguan Sheerfond New Material Co., Ltd. develops and manufactures far-infrared and graphene heating materials, and designs the thermal systems built around them. We supply both graphene and resistance-wire heating solutions, and our low-voltage range covers 3.7 V, 5 V, 12 V, 24 V and 36 V architectures. Products are manufactured against project specifications with batch inspection records rather than from a fixed catalogue.
Buyers with a defined market, a specific colourway or a private-label programme are welcome to send requirements for a design and sample review.
Send us your target market, the fabric and frame direction you need, the system configuration you have in mind, your branding and packaging requirements, and your target quantity. We will come back with a design proposal and a sample plan.
Price indication: the chair is quoted at US$25–45 per unit for a standard configuration, depending on frame specification, fabric, system configuration and order quantity. This is a per-unit reference for a made-to-order product, not a fixed catalogue price. Final pricing follows your confirmed specification, order quantity and destination market.
